Testing your agent with a test call
Make a test call from your browser to hear your agent in action before going live.
How to make a test call
Go to your agent's overview page or any agent sub-page.
Click the Test button in the top action bar.
A call panel opens on the right side of your screen.
Click Start call and speak to your agent as a real caller would.
When finished, click End to hang up. You can click Again to start another call from the same panel.
What to test
Does the greeting sound right?
Can it answer common questions about your business?
Does it book appointments correctly (if enabled)?
Does it quote menu prices accurately (if ordering is enabled)?
Does it transfer to the escalation number when appropriate?
Does the voice and language sound natural?
Tips
Test calls use your browser's microphone. Make sure browser permissions are granted.
The call panel shows the agent's name and a live transcript as the call unfolds.
Test calls appear in your call history so you can review the full transcript afterward.
You can also open a test call from the setup checklist when your agent is in Draft status.
